About us
About Neuro Insight Journal
Neuro Insight Journal turns published research on memory, the brain and healthy aging into short summaries written in plain English. Our articles are prepared by the Research Desk, a small editorial team that reads the original papers, notes how each study was designed and reports what it found as well as where it fell short.
What we cover
We focus on topics that matter to adults in the second half of life: sleep, physical activity, mental activity, hearing, blood pressure and other everyday factors that researchers have studied in relation to thinking skills. When we cite a study, we link to its public record so readers can check the source for themselves.
How the site is funded
Advertising pays for the site, but it does not change what a study says. Statements made in a manufacturer’s presentation belong to the manufacturer, and we mark those links as advertisements.
Not medical advice
Nothing on Neuro Insight Journal is medical advice, and our summaries are not a substitute for a visit to a doctor or pharmacist. If you have concerns about your memory or your health, or if you take medication, speak with a qualified health professional before changing your routine or starting a supplement.
