Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Neuro Insight Journal (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit neuroinsightjournal.com, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and service providers automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the page you came from, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies and tracking links. Links to the advertiser on this site pass through a tracking link used for ad measurement and affiliate attribution. That link, and the pages it leads to, may set cookies or use similar technologies to record that you clicked, which ad or traffic source sent you, and whether a purchase followed. This lets advertisers and affiliate partners measure campaigns and credit the right commission.
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
We do not ask for, and this site does not collect, payment details. Purchases are made on the retailer’s own checkout, which is governed by the retailer’s privacy policy.
How we use information
- to operate the site, keep it secure and fix problems;
- to measure how our pages and advertising perform;
- to attribute sales so that commissions can be paid;
- to reply to your messages and requests;
- to comply with legal obligations.
How information is shared
We share information only as needed for the purposes above:
- Retailer and advertiser. When you follow a link to the advertiser, the retailer (BuyGoods) and the advertiser receive click and attribution data. Anything you enter at checkout goes directly to the retailer.
- Affiliate networks and ad measurement providers. Tracking and advertising partners receive technical and click data to measure campaigns and report sales.
- Service providers. Companies that host or support the site process data on our behalf.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing click and cookie data with advertising and affiliate partners may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; see your California rights below.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or turn on your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. Blocking cookies does not stop you from reading this site.
California residents (CCPA)
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it;
- request a copy of that information;
- request that we delete or correct it;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including by sending a Global Privacy Control signal;
- not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email contact@neuroinsightjournal.com with the subject line “California privacy request”. We may need to verify your request before acting on it, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Third-party sites
This site links to websites run by others, including the advertiser and the retailer. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions or requests: contact@neuroinsightjournal.com.
